Sean Smith will present “Women Owned Small Business Certification and Contracting”.  He has served SBA’s Dallas/Fort Worth District Office as a Business Opportunities Specialist since his arrival in December 2010, working with firms participating in the SBA 8A Business Development Program. He served SBA at the San Antonio District Office from 2010 until 2019, then transferred to the DFW District office. Sean services 8(a) Small Businesses at the Dallas/Ft Worth District Office. He also helps market the HUBZone, SDVOSB and the WOSB program, and holds a Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting Level 1.

Linda Williams, Economic Development Specialist with SBA’s Dallas/Fort Worth District Office will present a workshop on “Money Grab – Where to Find Funds, and Why Your Business Plan Matters”.  She has 20 years’ experience with SBA as a Loan Specialist, Lender Relations Specialist and Economic Development Specialist.  With an MBA in Management, she taught business courses at Dallas Baptist University and an adjunct professor and is well-known for her workshops and webinars for entrepreneurs.
