In celebration of Pride, the U.S. Small Business Administration will host a live webinar panel with Larry Webb, District Director, SBA’s Washington Metropolitan Area District Office; Justin Nelson, Co-founder and President, National LGBT Chamber of Commerce; and small business owner Rachel Kalenberg of Pizza Carrello in Gillette, Wyoming. The discussion will focus on financial wellness and the importance of equity and opportunity to help uplift and support LGBTQI+-owned small businesses across the country. The panel will also discuss SBA initiatives and resources that support small business, LGBTQI+ entrepreneurs seeking to launch, and help for existing LGBTQI+-owned small businesses as they pivot and grow in a post-COVID world, a priority of the Biden-Harris Administration and SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman. Please join the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) North Florida District Office (NFDO) as we host our monthly Virtual Hour, which is a live call that will provide the latest information on SBA programs and services. We will also provide additional information on resources that’s also available to help future aspiring entrepreneurs, or small business owners seeking to start, purchase, grow or recover. During the call the participants will have access to the NFDO team members, who can speak to you about business mentoring, government contracting, business loans (Access to Capital) veteran, women’s business resources, and other SBA initiatives. Each month the Virtual Hour will have a subject matter expert who will also share key information and will be available answer questions and/or concerns during the call.
