The Department of Defense hopes to begin implementing its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program requirements in contracts in May 2023, as part of an effort to prod hundreds of thousands of defense contractors to better protect their networks and controlled unclassified information.  Read more…

Preparing for a Federal Contract with Access to Capital

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) is hosting a Live Chat with HUD’s OSDBU: Small Disadvantaged Business – Preparing for a Federal Contract with Access to Capital. The Live Chat is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 1pm – 3pm (ET).

This will be a Microsoft TEAMS live event. This webinar will provide small disadvantaged businesses and new entrants the opportunity to prepare for Federal contracting with information on access to capital. Event participants will hear from experts from HUD, PTAC, and SBA.

June 2022 Contracting Training

Training is provided by Stover & Associates, Inc.  7(j) training, provided to eligible firms and their employees, includes very specialized training in the areas of federal contracting. The training will be provided in an online format with live instructors and the ability for students to participate and ask questions. Up to 40 participants per workshop will receive training on how to make “real world” business decisions that will facilitate their firm’s success.
