During the week of November 1-5, 2021, SBA and its extensive partner network celebrate the strength and resilience of the #VetBiz community by hosting events across the country and sharing information about the resources available to veteran entrepreneurs.

Discover transition assistance resources like Boots to Business or connect with your local Veterans Business Outreach Center to develop your business plan, receive marketing tips, and access government contracting opportunities.

ARFSP Program

Are you a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) in the state of Arkansas? Do you know about the Arkansas Federal Surplus Property Program?

The Arkansas Federal Surplus Property Program is a unique program that allows certain businesses to purchase property from around the world that has been deemed surplus by the federal government. This excess property can include: tools and building supplies, furniture and office supplies, aircraft, and much more!

Join the SBA Arkansas District Office as we celebrate National Veteran Small Business Week (NVSBW)! We will be hosting experts from Arkansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and the ADEM Arkansas Federal Surplus Property Program to tell you more about how to register your business and purchase these supplies!

Wednesday, November 3rd at 10:00 am CT!

PTAC Veterans Summit

Please join us for the Arkansas Veterans’ Small Business Summit to learn about the programs and services that can help your small business succeed. Representatives from the Arkansas Procurement Technical Assistance Center’s resource partner organizations will be on-hand to give you a short overview of how they can help your business access the counseling, capital or contracts your business needs. This local network of resources is available to small business at all stages and offers free confidential business counseling, no or low-cost training programs and other networking opportunities. We include time for us to hear from you — the veteran business owner — about the needs you face and how we can help your business. There will also be a training focused on how to receive certification for the service disabled veteran owned small business owner and a government contracting panel discussion with federal agency representatives.
