The 8(a) Program is to help provide a level playing field for small businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged
people or entities, the government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses that participate in the 8(a) Business Development program.

The introductory webinar will be followed by a 4-part weekly series starting September 1 that will take you through preparation for and the actual application process. To attend
the webinars in the 4-part series a $50 fee is payable to Dallas Chapter of SCORE, a resource partner with SBA. The $50 fee covers the 4 sessions in the series.
