In Fiscal Year 2023, small businesses engaged in the 7(j) program exhibited remarkable success, submitting 3,700 bids for federal contracts, of which 2,200 were awarded—reflecting a robust win rate of 60%. With over 6,000 small businesses participating, those receiving training reported an average 45% growth in annual revenue. These achievements align with the broader trend revealed by FY21 and FY22 federal contracting data, showing increased dollars flowing to small businesses in all demographic categories.
