Arkansas Minority and Women-Owned Businesses to Connect with Buyers at Matchmaking Event
The Arkansas Economic Development Commission’s Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWOBE) division will host its annual matchmaking event on May 18, 2023. The event is designed to connect minority and women-owned businesses with local, state, and federal government buyers across Arkansas.
The event will be held at the Ron Robinson Theatre and the Rock It! Lab in Little Rock. Registrants will have the opportunity to participate in 15-minute, pre-arranged matchmaking appointments with private and public sector buyers for contract opportunities that might otherwise be difficult to schedule independently.
The Arkansas Minority and Women-Owned Business Matchmaking Event is the signature event for the MWOBE division and is co-hosted by the Arkansas District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Arkansas Procurement Technical Assistance Centre (PTAC).
This year’s keynote speaker will be Edward “Ted” James, the SBA Regional Administrator for Region VI, South Central. James will provide insights and guidance for small business owners seeking to connect with government buyers and compete for contracts.
The matchmaking event is a unique opportunity for minority and women-owned businesses to build relationships, secure new business opportunities, and accelerate their growth. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to connect with potential buyers and make valuable connections.
