National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW) 2022 will take place on October 31-November 4. This year, we will focus on celebrating the strength and resilience of the Veteran and military small business community as you continue to march beyond the events
of the pandemic and use what you’ve learned over the past few years to propel your businesses forward. With the SBA and its partners, we will work to connect your small business to resources that will help you start, grow, or expand your businesses.

Join our California wide event with Larry Stubblefield, Associate Administrator for the Office of Veterans Business Development (OVBD) at the SBA who will address participants as we launch National Veterans Business Week on October 31, 2022.

An opportunity to learn about the entrepreneurial trainings and resource programs available to Veteran business owners right in your local community.
NOVEMBER 1 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM PDT
An introduction to government contracting with high level overviews of certifications for Veteran-owned businesses.
Presented by Nancy Pigeon with the NorCal Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).
NOVEMBER 2 | 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM PDT
Get equipped with the skills, knowledge, and key resources needed to launch your Veteran-owned business.
NOVEMBER 3 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM PDT
A brief guide to prepare Veteran business owners for a variety of disaster types, utilizing resilience and transferable skills learned in the military.
NOVEMBER 4 | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM PDT
A panel including Accessity, CDC Small Business Finance, New Tech Small Business, and an SBA Lender Relations Specialist to discuss SBA loan programs and discounts available to Veteran-owned businesses.
