SBA’s
Ascent is a free online learning platform designed to help women entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses. It is a multi-media approach to online learning, featuring videos, worksheets, infographics, insights and more – and it just grew even bigger!
We have added four additional modules this summer:
Government Contracting: Learn about the various government contracting opportunities suited to your business and how to prepare to pursue them.
Partnerships: Learn how and why to seek out and maintain partnerships that drive business growth.
Entrepreneurial Leadership: Learn how to position your business for growth by building and refining your leadership skills.
Managing Sales: Learn how to develop strategies that build and strengthen your sales process and sales team.

7(j) Management and Technical Assistance Program
July – August 2022 | 4:00PM – 6:00PM EDT
The 7(j) Management and Technical Assistance Program provides specialized, high-quality assistance to eligible small businesses and encompasses a wide spectrum of business services to include one-on-one customized coaching, business training, and networking/matchmaking
opportunities. This free training is funded by SBA through The Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship and has provided assistance across the nation and beyond. A key goal of the program is to help firms successfully compete for federal, state, and
local contracting opportunities as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
If you or your business falls into one of the following categories, you are automatically eligible to participate in this free training program:

Small businesses that are owned and controlled by economically and socially disadvantaged individuals

Small businesses located in areas of high unemployment or low income;

A small business owned by low-income individuals
-
Certified 8(a) participant,

HUBZone small business,
-
Economically Disadvantaged Women-owned Small Business. [EDWOSB]
