Synopsis | ||
TVHS is continuing to see an incline of conflictcomplaints throughout its workforce. Unfortunately, many TVHS supervisors are not yet fully equipped with the skills needed for basic conflict resolution. Unresolved conflict deflects employees from the TVHS mission, changing their workday from working the mission to what they feel is “individual survival.” Some conflicts are even more complex than others and require EEO involvement. Most importantly, unresolved conflict can become frivolous EEO complaints and impact TVHS HRO mission. To assist with a more rapid response to all levels of conflict, it is beneficial to have trained mediators throughout TVHS available to address employee issues and complaints at the lowest level. This a local requirement and competition is set aside 100% for SDVOSB's. Venue location for training will be determined after the review of all awards.
