TESS (Tri-axial Earthquake and Shock Simulator) Facility Shake Table Maintenance and Calibration Master Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA)

The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center – Construction Engineering Research Lab (ERDC-CERL) houses its Triaxial Earthquake and Shock Simulator (TESS) facility at the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) in Champaign, IL. Within the TESS facility is a one-of-a-kind turnkey system comprised of these main components: a shake table, load frames, hydraulic power supply and control electronics which was designed and installed by MTS Systems Corporation 30+ years ago.
