SUBMARINE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Electric Boat Corporation, 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340.  The contract will be for engineering and technical design tasks in support of Research and Development (R&D) of advanced submarine technologies for current and future submarine platforms projects.  The contract will also contain an ordering provision for material, prototype hardware, and minor R&D projects.   The contemplated contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-3 (a)(2)(i).  Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Electric Boat Corporation directly.  This notice is ....
