Smart Benefits Transit Benefit Program

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)/ Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) plans to award the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority a sole-source Blanket Purchase Agreement to provide Smart Benefits through the Smart Benefits Transit Benefit Program.

This procurement is for NASA/ GSFC’s participation in the Transit Subsidy Program authorized by P.L. 191-509, Section 629 of the Treasury, Postal Service and General Government Appropriations Act, 1991 (P.L.101-509, 104 Stat. 1389, 1478), which allows Executive Departments and Independent agencies to participate in any program established by a state or local government that encourages employees to use public transportation.
