The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) has a requirement for the manufacture of Motor Tubes used for the assembly in the MK 22 Rocket Motors. The Motor Tubes require a manufacturing capacity capable of handling thin wall (~.140in) 4130 tubing, 5 inches in diameter, roughly 70 inches in length. The Motor Tubes also require OD threads, internal lock wire grooves, and several radial countersunk holes.
