M870A4 Semitrailer, Lowbed, Construction Equipment Transporter (SLCET) 40-Ton

This acquisition is for the production of the M870A4 40-ton Semitrailer, Lowbed, Construction Equipment Transporter (SLCET) (M870A4) semitrailer. The M870A4 is a low-bed semitrailer with a rated payload of 40 tons (80,000 lbs./36,290 kg). The trailer can transport a variety of Engineering Construction Equipment (ECE), tracked and wheeled vehicles and other payloads weighing up to 40 tons. It can provide transport for the Army Reserves, Army National Guard (ANG), Lower Tiered Air and Missile Defense Sensor Large Tactical Power System (LTAMDS LTPS) and, with modifications, the Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW), and other customers across the PM TS portfolio.
