Introduction. Richard L. Roudebush operates an electric 750 GPM, 75 HP fire pump for the facility fire protection system. Per NFPA 25 8.3 monthly testing is required to occur for ten minutes. The facility fire pump has failed the inspection due to excessive leaking from the packing glands. Pump is exceeding manufacture recommendations of 45-60 drips per minute. Requirements.
