Mt. Moriah Naval Plot FY24 Shrine Project awarded to Worrell Contracting Co., Inc
Worrell Contracting Co. Company – Worrell is currently working on site, doing similar work, therefore it is a logical follow on effort at this very small site. In accordance with VAAR 819.7008, Worrell Contracting Co. is a verified SDVOSB vendor in VetCert. Mount Moriah Cemetery has very limited space for staging, therefore, with multiple contractors onsite it will hinder progress and complicate communication with the facility. Worrell Contracting Co. is a current contractor onsite and already has the equipment, manpower and expertise to provide the service necessary. The cemetery is in a very rural area of Alabama. Worrell has many years of experience with Raise and Realignments, turf renovation/maintenance and irrigation renovation, as they have been awarded numerous projects in NCA with similar scopes of work. Their Past Performance has been rated exceptional in this line of work. In accordance with VAAR 819.7008, Worrell Contracting Co. is a verified SDVOSB vendor in VetCert.
