Advanced Microcircuit Emulation (AME)

The purpose of Advanced Microcircuit Emulation (AME) research and development (R&D) efforts is to develop, validate, qualify and transition the capability to produce microcircuits which are no longer available from industry. This includes reverse-engineering, design, fabrication, manufacture and testing of microcircuits, as well as projects which develop capabilities to produce specific types of microcircuits. The AME program also validates developed AME F3I reverse engineering to a point suitable for transition to the Generalized Emulation of Microcircuits (GEM) program.
